"Water was way too cold"
My fish showed up and the water was really cold, so the temp control definitely didn’t seem right. What made it more confusing was the email said one thing about the delivery/handling, but the package felt like something totally different happened. Just a frustrating experience overall

"I ordered after looking over the photos and..."
I ordered after looking over the photos and video they sent, so I really thought I knew what I was getting. But the betta that showed up looked completely different. The color was much duller, and the fins didn’t match what was shown at all. I understand fish can change a little, but this wasn’t even close. It felt like I picked one fish and got sent another. Disappointing, and if this is how it goes, I’ll probably shop somewhere else next time...

"Decent site, but not quite as smooth as I expected"
I was able to find the fish I was looking for easily, which was nice. I did expect the whole website to feel a little smoother though, especially on my phone. The checkout process was a bit confusing and clunky, so it took longer than I thought it would.

"Frustrating DOA Experience That Felt Avoidable"
My fish arrived DOA, which was already upsetting, but trying to get help made it even worse. I kept getting asked the same questions over and over, and never got a clear answer about whether I’d be getting a refund or a replacement. The whole thing felt like I was being brushed off, it seemed like a avoidable mess. I won’t be ordering from them again.

"Acclimation instructions were confusing"
I tried following their acclimation guide, but it wasn’t very clear. I kept second-guessing what I was supposed to do next, which is not exactly what you want when you’re dealing with live fish. After it was all done, the fish seemed stressed, so that was frustrating. Maybe the guide works for someone with more experience, but for me it felt way too vague.

I ordered something from overseas and was waiting on it for a while. It did eventually arrive, which I was glad about, but it came later than expected. Overall, the shipping was okay, just not super quick.

"Payment process felt secure"
I’ll be honest, I was a little unsure about paying for fish online, especially since it was an overseas order. But the checkout on thailandbettafish.com was straightforward and didn’t feel sketchy at all. No strange popups, no surprise fees, and everything went through smoothly.

I also got the confirmation email quickly, which made me feel a lot more confident that the order was handled properly. I do think they could make the payment protection details a bit clearer before checkout, just for extra peace of mind. Overall, it felt safe and reliable, and I’d give it 4 stars.

My betta arrived alive and seemed healthy overall, which was such a relief because I was a little nervous about shipping a live fish. He looked a bit stressed at first and his color was kind of dull, so I felt bad for him, but after about a day he started eating and swimming around like normal. The packing looked good too, so I think he just needed time to recover from the trip. Giving 4 stars.

My betta showed up alive and his color is nice, so I’ll give credit there. But his fins had some slight damage, and he looked like a little runt compared to the photos. After a week he’s eating and seems to be doing fine, so it’s not a total dud or anything. Just expected something a bit more impressive for the price.

"I was all set to place..."
I was all set to place my order, but the shipping cost didn’t really show up clearly until later in the checkout. By that point, I’d already spent time picking out fish, so it felt like the total changed on me after I was invested. I understand international shipping can be pricey, but just tell me upfront. I really hate when these automated checkout systems make you click through a bunch of steps before the real cost appears. It was frustrating and made me not trust the process.

"Disappointed by the lack of follow-up"
I bought from them and figured if I had a question afterward, it wouldn’t be a big deal. But I’ve messaged them twice now and haven’t gotten a single reply. It feels like once the sale was done, they were no longer interested in helping.

My order showed up with the wrong fish, and it wasn’t even close to what I asked for. I’m sure other customers would feel the same way, when you place an order, you expect to get the right thing.

"My betta showed up on time and..."
My betta showed up on time and the packaging was decent enough, but right away he just looked worn out. He was breathing fast and spent most of the day sitting at the bottom, which confirmed what I was already worried about with ordering a fish online.
I put him in clean, warm water and gave him time to settle in, hoping he’d perk up, but he never really got much energy. It wasn’t a total disaster since he did arrive alive, but he definitely didn’t look like a strong or healthy fish.

"Confusing replies and slow updates"
I don’t know, the communication just wasn’t great. I kept asking the same questions because the answers I got were either really short or kind of confusing, and I still didn’t feel like I understood what was going on. It felt like I had to keep pulling information out of them, which got frustrating. Overall, not really a good experience for me.

"Feels a bit overpriced to me"
The fish looked fine, I guess, and there wasn’t anything really wrong with it. But after paying the price plus shipping, I’m sure it just wasn’t worth it for me. I’ve seen similar bettas for less elsewhere, so I probably wouldn’t order from here again.

"Tracking Updates Weren’t Great This Time"
The fish arrived okay in the end, but the tracking barely updated for days, which was frustrating. I’ve ordered fish online before and usually get better updates along the way, so this definitely made me a little nervous until the package actually showed up.
